When it comes to serious topics, sometimes it’s best to make light of the situation. I feel that no matter how dark or dreadful, a good meme can really make you let out a laugh and ease some of the worry. Whether it’s a tense political debate, national conflict overseas, or something really troubling that a celebrity has said, memes can serve as more than just a good “lmao”. To me, sometimes I become aware of a horrid situation because of a meme that I’ve seen online and then I research the subject matter more to understand the meme’s origin. Still, you always have to take everything you see with a grain of salt.

Especially when you’re bored and you start asking Siri 20 Questions.
